Essential Documents and Requirements

Passport
This one’s a no-brainer! Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in Spain.
Visa
For US citizens traveling to Spain for tourism or business purposes for less than 90 days within a 180-day period, you’re in luck! No visa is required. However, if you plan on staying longer or engaging in activities like studying or working, you’ll need to apply for the appropriate visa at the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in the USA.
ETIAS Visa Waiver (Coming Soon!)
Starting in 2024, US citizens will need to apply for an ETIAS visa waiver before entering Spain. This waiver will cost €7 and be valid for multiple entries over three years. It’s best to apply online at least 72 hours before your trip.
